JavaScript fundamentals for test automation

Learn practical JavaScript for writing tests.

Module 1: JavaScript essentials for test code: variables and types, functions, objects and arrays, async/await and promises, error handling, loops and modules. Examples cover both API assertions and UI scenarios.

REST APIs: Postman and automation basics

Requests, responses, and status codes — foundations for API tests and UI flows that call the backend.

Module 2: Postman: collections, environments, variables, and typical REST checks. You’ll understand contracts and data that you’ll later use from Playwright (API tests and E2E).

Playwright: API + UI automation (E2E)

One tool for both API requests and browser scenarios.

Do I need programming knowledge?

Basic JavaScript helps but isn’t required. We start with fundamentals for test code, then move to Playwright for API and UI. If you’re in QA or dev, the material lands step by step.

How long does it take?

The format is 1:1 with a monthly hour package (4 or 8 live hours). Plus self-practice and feedback between sessions. Program length depends on your pace and goals.
